The Green Skills Action Plan focuses on ensuring local people have the right skills to enter into and progress in work, and local employers have the people they need with the right skills to deliver activities within those sectors that are responsible for the majority of emissions (as outlined in the city’s Climate Emergency Action Plan), specifically:

• buildings/ construction

• mobility

• power and heat

• waste

• with a cross cutting theme of nature-based solutions for climate.
