Supporting job-seeking adults in Plymouth
From Monday 25 to Friday 29 November 2024, in celebration of Older Workers Week, we are hosting two dedicated information sessions to help local people aged over 50 to take advantage of the opportunities available in the city, including:

job and volunteering opportunities

training and education

benefits and community support.

Join us to explore ways to upskill, change careers and access a new opportunity, and for support to rebuild your confidence to return to work.

​The information sessions will be held on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 November, from 12noon to 2pm in the city centre, with attendees from local organisations on hand to help:

Representatives from the Job Centre Plymouth, Clarion Futures and Citizens Advice Plymouth can support with benefits and in-work support

Adult education provider On Course South West

Sector skills partnerships for health and social care (Caring Plymouth), tourism, hospitality and retail (Welcoming Plymouth), construction and the built environment (Building Plymouth) for volunteering, employment and training support
